Intended Audience
You, your doctor your hospital, or people you have chosen.
When you are not particularly sensitive about allowing people with a need to know to have ready access to your information in order to benefit you
Your family
If there is something that should only be known by them
Your physicians and hospitals
When you have information to share with them but other things are not needed to render care. Example: share your medication list with the physicians but not share all of your personal information
EMS, disaster management agencies.
You may only want to release your physician's name, medications and allergies, for example.
You might want to keep something to yourself. If you don't designate it to Family, Physician or Emergency Share, and you don't share your own USERNAME, you can keep something entirely private.
